Challenge Create ongoing pieces that perpetuate the look and feel of the client and being aware of budget. This is a collection of postcards. These postcards are marketed to instutional investors, plan participants for educational purposes, and to non-participants in an effort to gain participation. Challenges include budget, continuity with other materials, and illustration. Solution In the case of the "Instutional Consultants" postcard, I needed to create a piece that would work with the website being developed. The idea was to get them to "take a closer look". For "TRW" the primary concerns were budget and continuity between pieces. In addition, they only had three liscensed illustrations for all their work. I developed a "style within a style" for the first piece by graphically dealing with the illustrations. The first piece is also printed using only two colors. The second TRW postcard uses the full view of the illustration in four color. You can see and will see in other samples that I have worked with limited resources in creating "style with style". "Individual Directions" (as you will learn more about in the "Putnam Investments" samples) and "Cabletron" are educational postcards. The "ID" postcard is a template designed to work with the other "ID" materials. Note only three color printing. Cabletron is two colors. This postcard uses fresh imagery concerned more with the feel of Cabletron. The last four postcards are a series where I developed illustrations to coincide with calendar events. The intent here is to encourage non-participants to participate. | ||||
